Apple PowerMac G5 (g520xpro) Mac Desktop

Newbie Review by Greg Macintosh Newbie Product Reviewer:

You will have to part with a tidy sum of money to acquire this tasty machine (which doesn't even come with a keyboard, let alone a monitor!) but when you do, you will own one of the fastest computers available today. The dual G5 processors rated at 2Ghz in total make short work of complicated graphics and 3D modelling, calculations and audio work and are backed up by 512MB of SDRAM (that can be upgraded to a total of 8GB) and a 160GB hard drive. The system is also ready to accept wireless internet and Bluetooth peripherals and the many different expansion slots, bays and ports make keeping up with new technology a breeze.

Pros:

An excellent all round choice for the power user

Cons:

A little on the pricey side
