Apple Power Macintosh G4 (M8839LL/A) Mac Desktop

Newbie Review by Greg Macintosh Newbie Product Reviewer:

If you want to spend a sensible amount and not demand too much from your computer, then the PowerMac G4 could be what you are looking for, however, if you want to use super hungry programs such as video editing and graphic manipulation, and still not break the bank, then the PowerMac G4 may still be what you are after. As standard you have a G4 1Ghz processor, 256MB of SDRAM and a 60GB hard drive. Throw in a modem and a combined CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive and you have a solid home computer. However, the tower can support 4 hard drives (giving a total amount of up to 720GB storage!) and 2GB of SDRAM and a wireless AirPort card. Adding this little lot will add to the price, but it should give you a speedy and powerful computer to cope with most tasks.

Pros:

Good standard spec, easily upgraded

Cons:

Standard spec is a little basic
