Not every computer user needs enough power to edit graphics or enough storage space to save entire movies ready for editing. Some just want a bit of word processing and a bit of internet. Those users are going to laugh at $3000 price tags and walk out of a store when confronted by $5000 prices. What you want is an eMac G4. Fine, it isn't the latest or the most powerful, but it is more than adequate for normal use and comes with a sub $1000 price mark AND a monitor! The G4 processor is rated at 1.25Ghz, it has 256MB of SDRAM, a 40GB hard drive, a DVD/CD-R combined player and a modem for connecting to the internet. All of this is wrapped up in the attractive eMac all-in-one casing. What more could you ask?
