Apple iMAC (M9105LZ/A) Mac Desktop

Newbie Review by Greg Macintosh Newbie Product Reviewer:

Is there anybody who doesn't just love the design of these iMac's? The easily positioned 15" screen mounted on the round base that actually conceals most of the computer's workings is a joy to look at, especially flanked by the cute, round speakers. Those workings are pretty impressive too; first is the powerful G4 processor rated at 800Mhz, then the 256MB of SDRAM, an 60GB hard drive, Ethernet, Fax/Modem, a graphics and sound card and a combination CD-R/DVD player. Although the design of the unit makes upgrading drives almost impossible without using external devices, the memory can be added too (creating a maximum of 1GB of SDRAM), ensuring that the computer does not go out of date too quickly.

Pros:

Great design, perfect for the style conscious home user

Cons:

Beginning to show its age power-wise
