In all but size and weight, the word big can be used to describe the PowerBook G4 9422. It has a big 1.5Ghz G4 processor, a standard 512MB of SDRAM that can be upgraded to a big 2GB if you expect your applications to demand this amount and a whopping 80GB of hard drive based storage space. A 15.2" TFT screen allows you to see what this powerhouse is going to do next. As usual with Apple products, many upgrades can be specified at the time of purchase. The reason that the word big cannot be used to describe the unit itself is the clever use of an aluminium alloy to make the casing, this keeps the weight down and gives it that pleasant silver sheen. You had best be on the lookout though, as big also describes the price tag.
