The last thing you need to worry about when carrying you laptop around is whether it will survive a little knock or two. This worry is all but gone when you have the iBook 9418 safely tucked up in your Apple backpack. Its solid polycarbonate plastic and lightweight magnesium casing is impact resistant and light, so protection doesn't have to mean heavy. It's powerful too, the G4 processor is rated at 1Ghz, it has 256MB SDRAM (with the option to increase it to 1.2GB) and a 40GB hard drive. The beautifully clear 14.1" TFT screen is perfect for precision work or for viewing DVD's. So as all these features are available on the move, the battery is quoted to last up to 6 hours.
