Hewlett Packard Compaq dc5000 (PJ353UA) PC Desktop

Newbie Review by Hortio Hornswaggle Newbie Product Reviewer:

It may be small, but it is ugly! This Compaq machine seems to have styled itself on the PC's from 10 years ago, but manages to have a pretty impressive spec list hidden under that skin. The processor that powers the show is a Pentium 4 item rated at 3Ghz and is supported by 512MB of memory and a 40GB hard drive. Windows XP is supplied on the PC as well as a CD-ROM drive and an integrated graphics and sound card. Overall, the system is obviously best suited to a business application, perhaps in a network as the small hard drive, lack of DVD and back-of-a-bus styling will not attract the home user.

Pros:

Fast processor, adequate memory

Cons:

Ugly styling, small hard drive and no DVD
