Hewlett Packard Compaq dx2000 Microtower (PX837AA) PC Desktop

Newbie Review by Hortio Hornswaggle Newbie Product Reviewer:

This Compaq minitower is obviously designed with the small business user or a for company use as a multiple network computer. For home use, other models are available for similar costs with features that are geared to home use. The processor in the minitower is an Intel Pentium 4 2.8Mhz item, the memory is 256MB as standard, but this can be upgraded to 4GB if you so require. It is the hard drive that rather lets the side down and in my opinion is what makes it unsuitable for home use. It is only a 40GB model, which is large enough but it is nice to have a bit of growth in the PC for later, plus it runs at only 5,400 rpm, a slower speed than most of its home based competitors.

Pros:

Decent processor, not too expensive either

Cons:

Could do with more memory and a larger hard drive
