IBM ThinkCentre A50 (814815U) PC Desktop

Newbie Review by Hortio Hornswaggle Newbie Product Reviewer:

Priced competitively, the IBM ThinkCentre is a good choice for those who want an off the shelf system without too many bells and whistles. This is precisely what they get too, even to the point of NO bells and whistles. Firstly the processor, which is a good choice and still up with the fastest out there; it is an Intel Pentium 4 item and is rated at 2.8Ghz. Next the memory is an acceptable 256MB, however this may need to be upgraded and the motherboard is happy to accommodate up to 2GB if you wish. The other plusses include the good monitor and the overall neat, small and tidy design. On the downside is the frankly tiny (in today's terms) 40GB hard drive and the total lack of CD-R or even DVD functions on the drive.

Pros:

Good price and quality, fast processor, small design

Cons:

No DVD or CD-R feature
