IBM ThinkCentre A50 (814825U) PC Desktop

Newbie Review by Hortio Hornswaggle Newbie Product Reviewer:

Another tower offering from IBM and as you would expect, it has all the right specifications to be a usable and easily upgradeable home use PC. The tower casing is easily removed for simple and quick access to the internal workings of the machine, making upgrade as and when it is needed a breeze. Upgrading may not be needed for a while though as the system is pretty up to date. The processor is an Intel Pentium 4 3Ghz item and is backed up by 512MB of SDRAM. There are plenty of slots for upgrading and the unit is supplied with a decent graphics and soundcard. The system is let down by the absence of a DVD drive and a rather puny 40GB hard drive.

Pros:

Good price, easy to work on

Cons:

No DVD drive
